Arch Rock – One of the most recognizable places on the Island. This natural rock formation is a true standout and must see while on the island.
The East Side of the Island is home to Mission Point Resort and their incredible lakefront open space is a great place to relax and take in those beautiful sunrises.
Aerial of the world famous Grand Hotel looking back toward downtown. The Grand Hotel is a magical place that just like the Island, takes you back in time.
“The Lost Soul” – Sugar Load Rock on Mackinac Island. This landmark has great Native American lore and is an incredible site to see. One of the many reasons to go out and hike the great nature trails on the island.

Simple times – horse drawn carriages, walking through town or natural trails, visiting natural wonders, taking in the rich history of the island – all of this is what makes the Island so special.
Round Island Lighthouse is a staple off the shipping lane of Mackinac Island.. Riding the ferry across to the island and seeing not only this Lighthouse but the mighty Mackinac Bridge is just another great experience.
As you can tell, I highly recommend visiting Mackinac Island. The experiences will last a life time!
